This is our chihuahua Allison's third litter of puppies. Each time we've traveled to Evanston to use the same father. We do this specifically because he is tiny, sweet, beautiful, and has champion bloodlines. Neither he nor Allison have ever had any health problems. In addition, all of the previous puppies have been under 4 lbs. when full grown.
This litter of puppies was born Oct 13th and still has three available males that have been handled constantly and socialized to make perfect pets. They have been bathed, nail trimmed, and had their teeth brushed weekly. They have also been taken outdoors and have played with our gentle boxer and cats. We feel it is extremely important to allow the pups to experience new things so that they will not be fearful. Since both my husband and I are veterinarians, of course all vaccinations, dew claw removals, and dewormings have been done correctly.
Allison is our house pet, we are not breeders. We take special care to give each litter of puppies individual care so that the chihuahuas' unique personalities can develop and they will be great dogs. After seeing numerous aggressive, fearful, and unhealthy chihuahuas in our practice, we decided there was need for loving, healthy chihuahua puppies.
We live in a small farming community in Central Illinois, but I am from Chicago originally and travel there often. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing a pup.
