PURPOSE
DoggieDealer.com is a dog buying website for connecting dog buyers and dog
sellers. Dog sellers use this site to post their profiles and dogs for sale,
and dog buyers use this guide to browse these postings to buy a dog. When
a buyer is interested in a particular dog or dog breeder they can contact
them with the information provided by each breeder. Basically, DoggieDealer.com
is an enhanced phone book for the dog breeding industry. DoggieDealer.com
enables dog breeders (as well as Humane Societies, Dog Rescues, and other
dog sellers) the opportunity to connect with potential customers. Furthermore,
it helps dog buyers by giving them a one-stop-shop to compare multiple dog
breeders and to find the perfect dog at the lowest price.
HISTORY
The idea for this site spawned from a conversation that started in 2003
with a few different people in the dog breeding industry. It was determined
that millions of dog lovers were using the Internet to find their special
pet, but could not find exactly what they were looking for and were displeased
with similiar sites. After years of market research and web development
DoggieDealer.com was launched on 1-15-2006 to provide a valuable service
to the dog breeding industry. We are constantly thinking of new ways to
add functionality to the site and hope to grow this to be the number one
place to find dogs. After over 6 years of operation this dog buying website
has had over 5,000 sellers create profiles for selling puppies online and
has generating over 38,000 leads.
CURRENT & FUTURE OPERATIONS
This site only provides the tools for dog buyers and dog sellers to find
each other. All contacts and transactions are handled outside of this site.
Because of this "hands free" nature, DoggieDealer.com is free
for all dog buyers and dog breeders to use. However, the web site owners
reserve the right to implement various functions in the future that may
change the way DoggieDealer.com currently operates. |
